Can I ask? The number of people "ready to serve" is the number of recruits, or the total number?

Actually Inception is what really kicked things off. Artemis and E3 are definitely helping

Hawkeye 72 posted Mechwarrior Online Forum Statistics (while nubnub is gone...OSD) which attempts to investigate MWO and Comstar. As indicated in the thread, not only was the information validity questionable but it was redundant to previous unequivocal data. This is reflected by the 'accuracy' of the MWO beta screenshot above.

For those without privy here is some data about the beta: ~2500 invites sent, ~12 days playing and ~1000 bug reports. And for those left out of the loop Here is the top five bug list:
